This preentation was given on 2nd July 2006 during the CILIP Umbrella 2005 Conference held at the University of Manchester, Manchester. It formed part of a session organised by the CILIP Cataloguing and Indexing Group.
This presentation outlines the various aspects of using surveys and questionnaires to establish performance data for bibliographic records. It draws on the experience of a several surveys, reviews and reports in this field carried out by UKOLN over a number of years.
