Artists in Residence
There is a growing trend for artists-in-residence to be attached for varying periods of time to museums, art galleries and libraries. They may be involved in specific outreach activities (for example, creative writing groups, art workshops, oral history seminars), or be connected with a specific exhibition or permanent display.
Writing a blog about their activities is one way of recording what their activities, the outcomes of any creative sessions they have run, and their thoughts on the whole experience. The blog also provides a way for people to contribute their thoughts via the comments facility.
