• Clump metadata may be provided by

  • end-user organisations
  • the clump-based service providers

• Clump metadata may be:

  • Distributed throughout the network via links
  • Kept centrally through “harvesting” the network
  • Kept centrally by registering metadata with a central agency
  • A combination of these methods
