Following the success of previous meeting held in Stratford, UK in June 2000, The Joint Information Systems Committee and the National Science Foundation are hosting a second DLI All Projects Meeting. The meeting will be held at the Edinburgh Marriott (formerly the Swallow Royal Scot) on 24th and 25th June, 2002.
The purpose of meeting is to provide an opportunity for those involved in the Digital Library Initiative 2 funded projects to update colleagues on project developments and share experiences. The meeting is being held in the UK to provide the NSF and JISC funded projects an opportunity to participate & to facilitate cross fertilisation with other initiatives. The meeting also aims to place Digital Library activity in a wider context for example there will be speakers from the UK and Canada presenting the progress and issues of developing national information architectures for the delivery of digital libraries.
The meeting is being held back to back with the JISC CNI Conference that is being hosted at the same venue in Edinburgh on 26th and 27th June .

The Edinburgh Marriott (formerly the Swallow Royal Scot) is a smart modern hotel set in the suburbs of Edinburgh, close to the airport and approximately 20 minutes from the City Centre by taxi. The hotel boasts an excellent restaurant and superb leisure club with heated indoor pool, spa bath, sauna, steam room and fitness room. Bedrooms are well appointed and comfortable.
The meeting will run from 24th June to 25th June 2002, refreshments and lunch on both days and the meeting dinner and meeting materials will be provided.
You will be required to settle your own accommodation expenses. The cost of a single room with breakfast is £99.00 (sterling) per room per night.
Due to the size of the venue numbers are limited. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
