The Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) and the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI) are proud to announce the fifth JISC/CNI meeting, that will be held at the De Vere Grand Hotel, Brighton 8 -9 July 2004.
The meeting will bring together experts from both the United States and the United Kingdom. Parallel sessions will explore and contrast major developments that are happening on both sides of the Atlantic. It should be of interest to all senior management in information systems in the education community and those responsible for delivering digital services and resources for learning, teaching and research.

Daniel E Atkins, University of Michigan, who was Chair of the NSF Blue-Ribbon Advisory Panel on Cyberinfrastructure
Tony Hey, Professor of Computation in the Department of
Electronics and Computer Science, University of Southampton
and Seconded as Director of UK e-Science Core Programme (from April 2001),
EPSRC, Swindon
Clifford Lynch Director of the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI)
Derek Law, Director of Information Resources at Strathclyde University
There will be two pre-meeting sessions from 9:30 - 11:00 am on 8 July.
The De Vere Grand Hotel, Brighton Date back to 1864, it is a 5 star hotel that has earned a reputation for well-appointed accommodation, excellent cuisine and a superb Leisure Club.
The residential delegate fee includes refreshments and lunch on 8th and 9th July, a place at the conference dinner on 8th July, overnight accommodation on 8th July and breakfast for one person.
Residential delegate rate is £375 before 10th May and £400 after 10 May.
Day delegate rate on 8th July (includes refreshements, lunch and conference dinner) is £150
Day delegate on 9th July (includes refreshments and lunch) is £90
N.B. When booking extra nights accommodation directly with the hotel (as explained on the booking form) please ensure that you state that you are attending and will be paying the arranged conference rate for your extra night(s).
