To provide an overview of research, development and projects related to the usage of knowledge organisation systems in Internet-based services across the different communities.
To progress defining and building common terminological services and tools for the UK HE/FE sector which meet the requirements of teaching, learning and research.
To place the discussion in the context of cross-domain, cross-sectoral terminology services, a problem which the Common Information Environment is trying to address.
To inform JISC’s strategy and development activities.
