Also in London, I attended the Town Meeting to discuss bids to JISC's circular 5/99. The closing date for this is late January, and there's plenty of scope for interesting bids across the library, museum and archive sectors...
Late in the month, I travelled to Edinburgh to meet with the staff at EDINA and to discuss a number of issues related to the evolving Distributed National Electronic Resource (DNER) here in the UK.
