STM Innovations Seminar

Pete Johnston gave a presentation on metasearching to the STM Innovations Seminar, organised by STM, the International Association of Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers, and held at the Hilton London Kensington, London, on Friday 2 December 2005.

Abstract

The presentation summarises some of the main technical standards that support what is now commonly known as 'metasearching'. It describes the work of the NISO Metasearch Initiative, and sets that activity in the context of other resource discovery approaches.
