Work on FILTER at UKOLN:

UKOLN has produced a state-of-the-art study of image metadata for the FILTER project. This includes descriptions of selected metadata initiatives that have been developed for the cultural heritage domain, for digitisation projects and geospatial information. These include DCMI, MPEG-7, the AMICO Data Dictionary, SPECTRUM and the METS initiative. An additional section considers the most important educational metadata initiatives.

The report is available at: http://www.ukoln.ac.uk/metadata/filter/report/
