Forthcoming WorkshopsAn additional workshop has been scheduled on Preservation NOF Digitise is running a one-day workshop aimed at informing projects of how to implement their preservation strategies. It will offer practical advice and guided steps about what projects should be doing, encourage reflection on what decisions needs to be taken and involve discussion of the various obstacles facing projects in executing such a strategy. Date: Tuesday November 18th, 11am to 4pm Venue: London full details here : Preservation 2003 Previous WorkshopsA number of workshops and briefing days were held during 2002 and 2003 to support projects in their work and to provide an opportunity for staff from projects to meet and share experience and knowledge. These events also gave participants an opportunity to engage in discussion with NOF and their partners in the programme; Resource, UKOLN and the Arts and Humanities Data Service (AHDS). Some workshops were aimed at specific areas of the digitisation project process. Other workshops covered more general areas and all projects were invited to attend. Materials presented at the workshops are made available on this Web site soon after the event.
