How to use the Projects template
Projects pages use a template to create a consistent display for project information. This template uses data paramenters and the following data must be provided:
- project: The project acronym, e.g. CDLOR
- fullname: The full name of the project, not including the acronym, e.g. Community Dimensions of Learning Object Repositories
- leadsite: The name of the lead site for the project.
- partners: The name of each partner institution. Separate multiple partners with a carriage return and a space.
- contactname: The name of the project manager or principal project contact.
- contacttitle: The job title of the project contact.
- contactemail: The email address for the above.
- jiscname: the project name as it appears in the JISC web page for that project, e.g. the page for CDLOR is http://www.jisc.ac.uk/index.cfm?name=project_cdlor so cdlor (note the lower case) would be entered as the jiscname.
- homepage: Full URL for the project homepage.
- supportname: wikiname for the project's designated support person.
- clusters: link to the clusters the project is a member of; links are created by enclosing a DigiRep page name in double spare brackets, e.g. [[Cluster page]]
- summary: brief project summary.
- reports: links to progress reports.
To display project information in a page, data needs to be input as in the following examples. Data parameters are separated by a pipe "|" and data should be entered between the equals sign (=) and the pipe (|).
Example (without data):
{{Projects| project=| fullname=| leadsite=| partners=| contactemail=| contactname=| contacttitle=| jiscname=| homepage=| supportname=| clusters=| summary=| reports=}}
Example (with data):
{{Projects| project=CDLOR| fullname=Community Dimensions of Learning Object Repositories| leadsite=University of Dundee| partners=University of Strathclyde Intrallect Ltd.| contactname=Sarah Currier| contacttitle=Project Manager| contactemail=sarah.currier@strath.ac.uk| jiscname=cdlor| homepage=not yet available| supportname=SarahCurrier| clusters=E-learning| summary=brief summary goes here| reports=link to report}}
The Template displays the above data in the following format:
