Miriam Drake

Miriam A Drake is the Dean and Director of the Libraries and Information Center at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition to being responsible for the operation and management of library and information services, Ms Drake is the Institute's Archivist and Records Manager. Her accomplishments include the planning and implementation of the Georgia Tech Electronic Library®, innovative uses of US Government information, implementation of full text information systems and specialised services for faculty and students.

Miriam Drake gave the Follett Lecture entitled "Information, Librarians and Learning: The Challenges Ahead" on 5 March 1996.
