Peter S Graham has been Associate University Librarian at Rutgers - The State University of New Jersey - since 1987, in charge of acquisitions, cataloguing, and networked information services. For three years he was also Associate Vice President for Information Services, with responsibility for the University's academic and administrative computing and networking. He has held prior positions at Columbia University, Indiana University and the Research Libraries Group. Mr Graham is a member of the governing bodies of the American Library Association, the Bibliographical Society of America, and the Center for Electronic Texts in the Humanities. He has published widely on issues of scholarly preservation, digital library requirements and the necessary changes within research libraries.
