About the Talk
A seminar on the Fixing The Web was given by Brian Kelly, UKOLN at the
University of Bristol on Tuesday 13th October 1998.
The seminar was given to nine students of the MSc in Library and Information Management.
This talk gave an overview of Web deficiencies and ways in which these deficiences are
being addressed. The talk covered:
- An overview of Web protocols
- The problems with the Web
- The development of a more robust Web
The talk lasted for an hour, with 30 minutes for questions and discussion.
