How can new technologies be deployed?



• Expect (hope) everyone will move to new browsers
• Use technologies in backwards-compatible manner
• Develop additional protocols e.g.
  • Transparent Content Negotiation
  • CC/PP (see http://www.w3.org/TR/NOTE-CCPP)
• User-agent negotiation
• Use of proxy intermediaries
