About the Talk
A seminar on the Seventh International World Wide Web Conference
was given by Brian Kelly, UKOLN at the University of Bath on Tuesday
9th June 1998. The seminar took place in Conference Room 0.35 in the BUCS
building from 2-4 pm.
The seminar covered:
- An overview of the conference
- The W3C track on web protocol developments
- The Developer's Day session on RDF, the Resource Description Framework
- A summary of a number of the technical papers, including those on metadata systems,
searching and indexing techniques, web characterisations, browsers and tools and applications in education
and training.
The seminar was aimed at members of the University who are involved in web
development activities.
