Exploiting The Potential Of Blogs and Social NetworksThis page provides access to the information for the discussion groups at the UKOLN workshop on Exploiting The Potential Of Blogs And Social Networks to be held at Austin Court, Birmingham.
Following the plenary talks in the afternoon, workshop delegates will participate in discussion group sessions which will provide an opportunity for group discussions. Since a WiFi network is available at the venue we will encourage the discussion groups to make use of a Wiki to keep a record of the group discussions and any recommendations which may be made.

This discussion groups will provide an opportunity for delegates to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of a variety of approaches to the provision of an institutional blog or social networking services and to identify the approaches which should be taken to the deployment of such services.
The discussion group will also provide an opportunity for delegates to make suggestions for ways in which issues raised during the workshop can be best addressed on a longer term basis.
