The following talk on Best Practices For Project Web Sites was given at a JISC 5/99 project meeting held at Queen Mary Westfield Mile End Campus, London on 18/19th June 2001.
What will happen to your project deliverables after the funding finishes. Will staff move on, the project Web site disappear, and knowledge of the of the successes and failure of the project eventually lost? Sadly this has happened in project programmes in the past.
In this talk Brian Kelly will review a number of funding programmes and highlight examples of best practices and lessons which should be learnt.
The talk will be based on the Guidelines For Setting Up Project Web Sites briefing paper.
