UCISA WLF / UKOLN Workshop: Beyond Email - Transcripts of the virtual rooms

Prior to the workshop three virtual rooms where set up using the Jabber instant messaging environment. The virtual rooms were available during the workshop and for a short period afterwards.

Transcripts of the discussions are available:

• The ucisa-ukoln-wlf-chat room, which was intended for general discussions.
• The ucisa-ukoln-wlf-tech room, which was intended for technical queries.
• The ucisa-ukoln-wlf-social room, which was intended for testing and social chat.

Note that although the discussions rooms were intended for use for specific purposes, in practice the rooms were used for a mixture of testing, social chat and discussion of the workshop content. In addition incorrect addresses for the rooms was given in the documentation which was distributed to delegates at the event.
