Regional Group Meeting

Aims Of This Meeting

This regional group meeting has been arranged for two purposes:

· For you to investigate the possibilities of the establishment of a regional group framework within your region.

· To provide you with the opportunity to discuss this year’s Institutional Web Management Workshop and to provide feedback in the final session.

Within your group discuss the following:

· Are there existing regional groups activities for members of institutional Web managers?

· Is there felt to be the need for a regional group for institutional Web managers?

· If there is felt to be a need, what should the scope for the group, what would it do, how would it be constituted, etc.?

· What area should the regional group cover?

· Are you in a position to make a firm proposal for the establishment of a regional group?

Individuals should use this session to complete the Evaluation Form for the workshop.

Once the forms have been completed, feel free to discuss your views on the workshop within the group.

Is there are consensus within your groups on:

· The best features of the workshop (which you would not want to lose in future events)?

· Aspects of the workshop which have been disappointing or you feel could be improvded.

There will be no formal reporting back of your views at the final session of the workshop.

However the chair of thre final session will be asking for feedback, so please appoint a reporter who can provide the feedback from your group.
