Learning Objectives
The session will enable participants to:
- Identify the key issues surrounding the development of an institutional
e-strategy.
- Compare notes and experiences of e-strategy development with colleagues from
other institutions
- Explore opportunities, challenges and constraints on the development of an
institutional e-strategy.
Timetable
- Presentation on e-strategies [15 minutes]
- Small group work discussion on a range of issues associated with e-strategies
(each group allocated a separate topic) [45 minutes]
- Feedback and further discussion with whole group [30 minutes]

How many people would you normally expect to attend a workshop session, as
this will have implications for the size of my discussion groups and range of
topics discussed? - TBC
Resources requirements:
I will need a room that is capable of hosting a number of small discussion groups,
e.g. seating which can be moved around. - OK
I will also require flip charts, pens, blu-tack, whiteboard (or wall if not
available), PC with Powerpoint and projector. No need for network access. - OK
