Members of the Programme Committee are responsible for the content of the workshop. The committee members represent a cross-section of the Web management community. The committee members normally serve on a committee for a period of two years, which provides continuity, but also allows new committee members to be appointed, whiuch allows new ideas to be provided.

Brian Kelly is UK Web Focus - a post funded by the JISC and MLA which provides advice and support to the UK Higher and Further Education communities and the museums, libraries and archives sector on Web issues. Brian is based at UKOLN.
Brian has been chair of the programme committee for the Institutional Web Management Workshop series since he established the event in 1997.
Brian's interests include Web standards, Web accessibility, quality assurance for Web services and innovative Web developments, including collaborative Web tools.
Brian is chair of the Programme Committee and a member of the Organising Committee.

Ian Upton is a Web Applications Developer at the University of Birmingham. He is currently responsible for developing 'new generation' Web infrastructure for the corporate Web site and creating the mechanisms needed to support those who contribute to it.

Stephen Bulley is Head of MIS at the London School of Economics and Political Science. MIS is part of the Business Systems & Services Division, which also includes Web Services, Telecoms, Timetables, Conferences & Events and provides IT support to the School's administrative departments.
Stephen runs the front line and application support teams for BSS, as well as the Oracle and Unix/Linux systems team.
He has worked in IT since 1991 and as an MIS Manager since 1997 from a background as an Oracle DBA; first in FE at South East Essex College and then at the LSE. He has been involved from the start with the LSE for You student & staff portal and recently led an evaluation for a portal product to help take this project to the next stage.

Matt Jukes is currently Production Manager for JISC Communications and Marketing responsible for a team covering events, publications as well as the Web site but was previously the JISC Web Editor and prior to that was the Web site Manager for the Economic and Social Research Council.

Miles Banbery is the Web Editor at the University of Kent.
Miles manages the University Web Team, a small group of people within Communications & Development at the University of Kent. Communications & Development's remit covers internal communications, corporate publications (largely student recruitment support), congregations (graduation ceremonies) and events, alumni relations, press and media relations and development and fund raising.
Miles is a member of the Programme Committee and was chair of the final morning, including the panel session on Responding To The CMS Challenge.

Ben Plumpton is Gateway Project Manager in Manchester Computing, University of Manchester, working on a new project to implement a university-wide web portal. She was previously Head of Web and e-Learning at UMIST, which has now merged with the previous Victoria University of Manchester to form the new University of Manchester. Ben has worked in IT since 1990, originally in IT training and consultancy for voluntary organisations and then at the Open University, managing the FirstClass computer conferencing system.

Natasha Bishop is the Events and Marketing Manager at UKOLN with responsibility for all events undertaken by the organisation along with marketing the organisation to the wider community.
