The conference will take place on campus at the University of Bath, Claverton Down, Bath, BA2 7AY. Information on travelling to the venue can be found on the IWMW Travel page.
Registration will take place in the foyer on Level 2, 8 West Building on Wednesday 14th June from 11:00 - 13:00.
A registration/information desk will be available throughout the conference. To contact the conference organiser (Natasha Bishop) from 14th June, or if you would like to leave a contact number for urgent messages, call 00 44 (0) 1225 386850 during office hours.
Information regarding the allocation and location of parallel sessions will be available in the delegate packs. We have tried to give everyone their first choice but some sessions filled up quickly and second choices have had to be allocated in these cases. If your name is not on the list then please speak to someone at the registration desk. Some submissions were made without personal details, which has not made allocation possible. Please contact Natasha Bishop if you have any questions.
If you have not yet booked your parallel session then you can register online until 16:00 on Friday 2nd June. After online registration closes you will be able to choose from those that still have spaces when you register for the workshop.
Information on how to connect to the wireless network will be available at the workshop. Delegates will be given a user name and password at registration which will enable them to access the network for the duration of the conference. Delegates bringing their own laptops are asked to follow the instructions given on the IWMW Technologies page.
Information regarding the allocation and location of discussion groups will be available in the delegate packs. Further information can be found on the IWMW Discussion Group page.
Accommodation for speakers and delegates will be located on the University campus in Marlborough Court and Solsbury Court, situated at the East end of the campus. A campus map is available from the University of Bath Web site.
The rooms are basic single ensuite student rooms. Towels and bedding are provided and tea and coffee making facilities are available in the shared kitchens in each flat of 6 rooms.
Although there is an Internet connection and phone in your room, these are only for use by students in term time. You may use the phone to call another room on campus but not for external calls.
Check-in is at the Marlborough Court reception (see campus map) from 14:00 on Wednesday 14th June. If you are intending to arrive after 22:00 please inform us. Check-out is by 10:00 on the day of departure, Friday 16th June. Luggage storage is available at the registration desk in 8 West Level 2.
All meals will be provided during the conference up to and including breakfast on the last day. Breakfast will be served in the Level 1 cafe on the Parade on campus from 8:00-9:00.
The conference will finish at 13:00 on Friday 16th June.
The social events are included in your registration fee.
On the first evening (Wednesday 14th June) there will be drinks followed by a conference barbeque which will be held in UBSA, on campus. Drinks will be served at 19:00 with dinner at 19:30.
On the second evening (Thursday 15th June) there will be a drinks reception at the Roman Baths in the centre of Bath. Coaches will be provided to take delegates into town.
