Institutional Web Management Workshop 2008:
Speaker: Mike McConnell

Mike McConnell is the manager of the University of Aberdeen's Web Team. The team comprises seven developers who are responsible for the majority of the University's web sites and web applications. The team also works for a range of commercial clients.

Mike formerly worked at the Robert Gordon University as an Educational Development Officer, and as a researcher in Information Management. As a callow youth he worked at the sharp end of IT user support in the oil services industry.

Mike has published on technology issues in education, Web usability and Web management.

Mike gave the Opening Welcome to Aberdeen with Derrick McClure and chaired the second morning session on Wednesday 23^rd July on "Let's Get Real".
