About UK Web Focus
UK Web Focus wass a national Web coordinator post, which was funded primarily by the JISC. UK Web Focus was based at UKOLN, University of Bath and ran from November 1996 to July 2013.
Who Is UK Web Focus?
Brian Kelly provided the UK Web Focus service. Brian was involved with Web development activities since he helped to establish a Web service at the University of Leeds in January 1993 - probably the first institutional Web service in the UK.
Brian attended the first World Wide Web conference in Geneva in 1994. He has attended several of the confrences since then and was involved in the programme committee on a number of occassions.
Brian was awarded a prize as the Information World Review's Information Professional of the Year at the Online Information 2007 Conference.
