This workshop aims to explore the highly distributed information landscape of digital repositories for research data and to examine the emerging eCrystals Federation Model. Current progress with eBank, R4L and SPECTRa projects will be presented, together with views from the chemistry publishing community. The practical challenges and issues will be discussed in breakout groups and a structured panel session, with the aim of identifying specific actions and development activities to move this initiative forward.
To come from crystallographers and chemists, digital repository managers, developers and project staff from library, information and research organisations, publishers, learned societies, data curators, laboratory equipment suppliers, research funding organisations and research networks.
There is no cost for this event although please note that we are unable to cover travel costs.

The workshop is taking place at the Hilton London Metropole, 225 Edgware Road, London W2 1JU.
