Modelling Workshop, 11th February 2010

STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Oxfordshire, UK

Objectives of day

The aims of this one-day consultation workshop are as follows:

  • To present aims and objectives of the I2S2 project to key stakeholders in the project
  • To consolidate requirements capture and establish project baseline
  • To consider an information model for structural sciences
  • To consider which parts of the information model should be developed to support by the use cases
  • To consider and plan the further development of the two motivating case studies of the project.

At the end of the day, the project would like to have a strong idea of how to develop the deliverables:

D1.1: Structural Science Requirements based on synthesis, gap analysis & immersive studies;
D1.2: Two fully-documented Use Cases
D3.1: Integrated Information Model
D3.2: Implementation Plan
D3.3: Two pilots with associated case studies

These deliverables will form the core of the work of the next year of the project.
