UKOLN - Projects - IEMSR - Phase 3: October 2006

Introduction

The JISC IE Metadata Schema Registry (IEMSR) project is funded by JISC through its Shared Services Programme. The IEMSR project is developing a metadata schema registry as a pilot shared service within the JISC Information Environment.

Phase 3 of the IEMSR project will run for 30 months from October 2006 to March (now extended to August) 2009.

The Centre for Educational Technology Interoperability Standards (CETIS) and the British Educational Communications and Technology Agency (Becta) also contributed to the project in different areas.
