Library Website workshop held at the University of Bath on 15-16th November 1999.

- Chris discussed design and accessibility issues, quoting from
guidelines issued by the WC3 (a consortium that develops common web protocols to promote
its evolution and ensure interoperability) and the Governments recently released
consultation document of guidelines for the use, management and design of public sector
web sites.

Biographical Details
Chris Webster joined
the EARL team in June 1999. His main
responsibilities include managing the EARL Website acting as listowner of EARL discussion
lists, maintaining partner Web pages, maintaining the Library and Information Commission
Website and running an informal current awareness service for partners via the
earl-contacts discussion list.
