Accommodation

Delegates requiring accommodation will stay in University Halls of Residence-Queen's Elms (49) on the University map- situated about 2 miles south of the city centre and about 10 - 15 min walk from the Peter Froggat Centre (3) on the main campus, where the workshop sessions will be held.

Accommodation is in single study bedrooms with wash hand basin. There are no ensuite rooms. Bedrooms are supplied with bed linen, towels, soap, tea and coffee, and are serviced daily. Each Hall has a common room and on each floor there is a kitchen-dining area with tea and coffee making facilities. There is a fully equipped laundry in each hall and card operated public telephones, the cards for which can be purchased at reception. Breakfast will be provided in the main dining room at Queen's Elms.

The reception office is open 24 hours a day

Queen's University has a Physical Education Centre (46) a short walk from the Queen's Elms residences. There is a 25m swimming pool and 12m diving pool plus facilities for squash, badminton, table tennis and team sports. There is also a sauna, solaria and a snack bar. Staff at reception will be able to give further details.
